And who better to help you promote it than content creators? Photographers, writers, videographers, social media experts, they can all help you make your event a success.

Blog tours, press tours and educational tours (they seem like they’re all the same thing but they are not) are designed for bloggers, journalists and professionals only. The attendees are invited to join by the organizer.
Usually, specialized agencies plan this kind of tours. However more and more tourist boards are planning them now as they realized the power of online promotion. Yes, I wrote online, because the best advertising is on the web. A news article published online – hopefully, an accurate one – travels much faster than a flyer, a newspaper or any other offline channel.

✓ Invite only serious and capable professionals, because they will make or break the initiative
✓ An exciting programme with plenty of interesting visits and activities
✓ Photos, videos and texts readily available for the attendees to reuse on their publications
✓ Actually pay the work of the professionals in the attendance
✓ Both the sponsors and the attendees publishing photos, texts and videos on their social media at the time of the actual event
